PhiloDex Newsletter
PhiloDex offers visitors of Philodex.com the option to subscribe to a newsletter. This allows subscribers to receive regular information from and about PhiloDex via email. This offer is governed by the following provisions.
1. Registration
(1) Subscription requires registration. PhiloDex needs the subscriber’s email address for this purpose.
(2) Subscribers may voluntarily provide additional personal information.
(3) Visitors have no entitlement to registration. PhiloDex reserves the right to refuse registration without stating reasons.
2. Processing
(1) The subscription begins once the registration form is submitted. PhiloDex sends the subscriber a newsletter via email at irregular intervals. Subscribers have no entitlement to this service.
(2) PhiloDex reserves the right to suspend or discontinue newsletter distribution at any time without prior notice, particularly in cases where proper operation cannot be ensured for technical reasons (e.g. viruses, manipulation, hardware/software errors) or legal reasons.
3. Cancellation
Subscribers may cancel the newsletter subscription at any time. Cancellation results in the deletion of the stored personal data.
4. Liability
PhiloDex is not liable for damages arising from errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, technical failures, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or any other issues related to the newsletter subscription, unless such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by PhiloDex, its employees or agents.
5. Data Protection
PhiloDex undertakes to comply with statutory data protection regulations.
6. Final Provisions
(1) PhiloDex reserves the right to amend these usage provisions at any time without prior notice. The subscriber agrees to the amendment unless they object via email within 14 days.

Overview – Refunds
Our refund and return policy is valid for 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
Certain types of goods are excluded from returns. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products related to intimate hygiene or medical supplies, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non‑returnable items:
• Downloadable software products
A receipt or proof of purchase is required for returns. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in certain cases:
• Books with obvious signs of use
• Items not in their original condition, damaged or missing parts not due to our error
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt. We will also inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your credit card or original payment method within a few days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, please check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as processing times may vary. If you have done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at ws@philodex.com.
Sale Items
Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale items are excluded from refunds.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange an item for the same item, email us at ws@philodex.com and send the item to:

Returning Items
To return your product, please send it to:

You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item. Shipping costs are non‑refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.
Depending on your location, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
